Notas BLA, notes ready to post

The story of Notas BLA. A universal iOS and Mac app, with invisible markdown for the common user and a Carousel button that turns what you wrote into three image sizes ready for Instagram. Made in Goiânia by BLA.

Someone is opening Notas BLA right now on an iPhone, writing five paragraphs about the book they finished yesterday, tapping a button, and in two seconds the paragraphs have become five Instagram cards in editorial typography, ready to post. Someone on a MacBook is doing the same thing, with the bigger screen, two panels side by side, seeing the result in high resolution. Notas BLA is a universal app: you buy it once and use it on iPhone, iPad and Mac, with sync via iCloud. The one who made it is BLA Publicações e Conteúdo Digital, in Goiânia. And the whole point of the app is this: you write, it transforms.

Worth recalling how it started. BLA is an editorial house with twenty years of experience in marketing, branding and narrative. Ivan Grycuk, founder and director, has been writing for thirty years: started in HTML in 1996, at eight years old, then MBA at ESPM, ten years in medical and pharmaceutical communications, the PODharmonizar podcast in Spotify’s top 15%. Whoever writes that much starts missing a notes tool that does not get in the way. Apple Notes stores but does not export properly. Bear is elegant but is a monthly subscription. Obsidian is powerful but asks for a learning curve. Ivan wanted an app that opened fast, wrote in markdown without showing the syntax, and had a button to turn a note into an Instagram carousel. It did not exist. He built it.

Notas BLA is universal by design. There is no iPhone version with cut features and Mac version with extra features. Same code, same interface, same Carousel feature, three screens. On the iPhone, you write on the bus, in the notary line, before bed. On the iPad, you write with Magic Keyboard or Apple Pencil in PDF margins. On the Mac, you write in long sessions with two panels (editor on the left, preview or Carousel on the right), native keyboard shortcuts, and exporting images straight to macOS Photos in high resolution. The iCloud sync is automatic. You close the note on the iPhone, open the Mac the next moment, continue exactly where you stopped.

Markdown is invisible for whoever does not want to see it. You type two hashes before the word Title and the screen shows a large title in serif New York. You type two asterisks around a word and the text becomes bold without you seeing the asterisks. You type brackets with text, then parentheses with a link, and the screen shows a clickable link. But the file in iCloud Drive remains a pure .md file, readable in any text editor, exportable to any tool, indexable by Spotlight. The Notas BLA folder is open in Finder. There is no proprietary database. There is no lock-in. You use it while it makes sense, and take your notes with you whenever you want.

The center feature of the app is the Carousel. You write a structured note with H2s, tap the Carousel button, and each H2 block becomes a card. In three sizes: Standard (1124 by 1500, for the feed), Square (1080 by 1080, for the profile) and Stories (1080 by 1920, for Reels). Each card has BLA’s editorial typography applied, the Areia BLA palette, and the result comes out as PNG. You tap Save and the PNGs go to Photos. In ten seconds, you went from notes on the iPhone to a carousel ready to post on Instagram. It is the kind of tool that either works or does not work. Notas BLA works.

Goiânia matters because it is the city where BLA Publicações e Conteúdo Digital is headquartered. BLA is an independent editorial house, directed by Ivan, with medical and pharmaceutical clients, the PODharmonizar podcast in Spotify’s top 15%, and since 2026 it also makes its own apps. Notas BLA is the first app from the house on this vector, published in May 2026. Sudoku BLA came in parallel, Lanterna BLA in parallel too. Each app is an editorial decision from a house that already decides editorially in other formats. It makes sense that a notes app made by an editorial house is literally an app that writes with editorial typography.

Whoever enters Notas BLA sees nothing new at first. A clean screen in Areia BLA. A folder with some initial notes: Trends (eight templates for carousel about film, band, book, quote, place, soundtrack, restaurant, recap), prompts_IA (five prompts to use with Claude or ChatGPT), Comece aqui (three notes explaining the app), Inspiração (four editorial text clippings). You read those templates, copy what fits, and start writing. In a half-hour session, you come out with five or ten of your own notes, and three or four ready carousels. The onboarding is the house’s own content entering as seed.

Notas BLA is on the App Store. It runs on recent iOS, iPadOS and macOS. One-time purchase, no subscription. You download, install, open, write, export. The text you were going to write anyway gains a form ready to post. The editorial house made the app it wanted to use itself. You can use it too.
