Green grass

Apps · Tocar na Grama
Swipe your finger, it responds with ambient sound and haptics. Five textures to touch. For when you need to remember the ground is there.
what it does
Open the app, pick a texture, swipe. The blades move toward your touch, ambient sound rocks underneath, the haptics answer the rhythm of the gesture. You do not play, you do not score, you do not win anything. You are just there.
It works with the phone in your hand, in bed, on the couch, in line. Silent when you want, with sound when you can. The intent is simple: a moment of decompression without you having to leave where you are.
five textures
From fresh grass to dry straw.
01
Swipe slowly. There it is.
02
Soft marks, calm texture, zero dirty shoes.
03
To cross a golden field without leaving the couch.
04
A slightly haunted grass, but very polite.
05
Dry straw, good warmth, silence.
sound and haptics
Each texture has its own ambient loop and its own touch sound. Green grass lets out a muffled whisper. The Gladiator wheat rasps louder. Mud gives a subtle pop when the finger moves fast. Ghost grass barely sounds, just a breath. Dry grass crackles warm.
The haptics follow. Start the gesture, a short pulse. Move fast, a firmer buzz. Move slow, almost nothing. The idea is for the phone to feel like the texture under your finger, not to explain it. You can turn the sound off entirely with a tap in the top right corner.
how it looks
The edges, the onboarding and the Settings screen follow BLA's editorial calm: a warm paper background, serif type, three quiet themes. The tactile scene brings its own palette: moss, olive, wheat, clay, glass. The pigments of the texture under your finger, not the brand on top.
why it exists
“Go touch grass” became a meme, the online crowd's jab at anyone who spent too long on a screen. Tocar na Grama takes the joke seriously. Yes, going outside and stepping on real grass is better. When you can, do that. When you cannot, at least swipe a finger over a texture that responds as if it were.
It is less than real grass, of course. But it is more than five minutes scrolling the feed. It is worth what it is worth.
