You roll the dice, move the checkers and play backgammon. With someone beside you or solo, against the machine. Good for a quick game in the elevator or a whole afternoon.

The same game from thousands of years ago: twenty-four points, fifteen checkers a side, two dice. You move, you hit, you bear off. No doubling cube, no betting. Just the game.
Ivory and charcoal checkers, dice that really roll, a board made to make you want to touch it.
two ways to play
With someone beside you, or solo.
On the same iPhone, two players take turns, white checker and black. Good for teaching, good for a rematch on the spot.
Solo, you play against the machine, at three levels. Start easy, climb when you want. The machine thinks on the device, all offline.

The checkers have volume, the dice have shine. Tilt the phone and the shadows follow, as if the board were right in front of you.
